Most of us make the mistake of buying a shoe that looks good on display, not sure just how comfortable it is. Some shoes were not made for walking but as decor to enhance your already gorgeous feet when you go to that dinner date with a suitor or even the "bragging dinners" you have with your envious and pretentious "girlfriends" (cause your real ones will love you even if you rocked up in flats at a black-tie event). Such shoes are to worn when you get off the car and rush to your seat and the in-between trips to the ladies then rush back to the car take them off and let your feet breathe. Before you take out that metal cutter and free your hand to reach into your purse and get your credit card to make a purchase check if the shoe you like fits and walking is not a mission....
If you can walk........ Buy it in every colour.

A walk to the mall
I just had to..... didn't I? What started out as a walk to Woolies ended with aching ankles. What was I thinking strutting my stuff down Rosebank Mall at lunch time in my 6 inch heels? I wonder.......
Now I have to face the wrath of my swollen ankles as they scream for attention in between my Editor's calls telling me I'm about to miss my deadline. Can a pair of shoes cause so much grief and end up causing me to miss my deadlines?
It serves me right, I should have a pair for every occasion. Flops to go to the mall, heels to parade around the office and other pairs for whatever comes up.
Moral of the story.... Thou shall think before buying that pair. Even if it fits, is it worth buying in every colour? *Just a thought*
