Finding the perfect pair
Today is government election day. I have to go and be part of history but only after my biggest challenge has been solved; finding the most comfortable and warm pair of shoes to carry me to the polling station, withstand the queues and back plus the drop in temperature is not making things any better. I tried flip flops but my toes will go stiff from the cold, can't wear heels for obvious reasons and trainers are uncomfortable cause my feet wil go all soggy and start to swell. What is a girl to do? The search continues for the most appropriate pair to wear to this memorable event. Remember if the shoe fits... buy it ( but not on public holidays cause the shops are closed).
Two is as good as one even in different colours
I have a bad habit....according to my friends anyway. On a shopping spree I would spend money on identical pairs in a few different colours, and this my friends think is a waste of money and a little weird while I look at it as an investment. Think about it, you see a dress in pink and you are taken by it but you still need to think about a matching shoe, whereas I just worry about it being the right cut cause somewhere in my closet is a matching shoe waiting to rise to the occasion. It makes my shopping life a breeze. Plus all this is a perfect build up to my walking closet which I am getting as soon as I make my first million. Remember if the shoe fits..... buy it in every colour.

Were they really made for walking?
Shoes were manufactured to protect the human foot, and for decorative purposes or so I always thought. They come in different designs, shapes, colours, sizes, heels and wedges. They can also make or break an outfit. Manufacturers constantly find themselves under pressure to upgrade footwork so at the move with the times. The better the shoe, the deeper the digging into the consumer's pocket. Some argue that cheap is better and comfortable while others argue that expensive is better and lasts longer. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Let's embark on a shopping expedition for these interesting accessories that were meant for walking. Remember if the shoe fits...buy it.
